Myra Health respects your privacy. We collect, process, and store personal data only when necessary

to provide our service. We ensure that data is securely handled, used only for the intended purpose,

and deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

What Data We Collect:

  • Patient Information: Name, contact details (e.g., phone number, email), and any relevant information required to manage an appointment.

  • Appointment Details: Date, time, and details of the appointment (for scheduling, modifying, or canceling).

  • Medicare Card Information: In some instances, we may collect your Medicare card details (e.g. Medicare number), which is considered sensitive health information. This is only collected if required for specific health services or billing purposes.

 

Data Collected Over Voice:

We may collect data over voice (e.g., through automated phone systems or voice-assisted platforms) for processing appointments. This data is only used for the specific task of appointment scheduling, modification, or cancellation and is immediately deleted once processed.

 

How We Collect Data:

  • Directly from Users: When patients or clinic staff book, modify, or cancel appointments through our platform.

  • Through Practice Management Software: We integrate with practice management systems to facilitate appointment scheduling and management.

 

No Health Data Collected (unless specified):

We do not typically collect detailed health information. However, in certain instances, we may collect Medicare card details to process appointments where required.

Data Storage and Security

No Data Storage:

Myra Health does not store personal data. Once an appointment is made, modified, or canceled, data is used immediately and then deleted.

Data Security:

We use SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit. Access to our system is restricted and secured against unauthorised access.

Use and Disclosure of Data

Use of Data:

Collected data is used solely for appointment scheduling and management and is deleted immediately after use.

No Third-Party Sharing:

We do not share personal or appointment data with third parties for advertising or unrelated services.

Data Retention and Deletion

Retention:

No ongoing retention. Data is deleted immediately after the completion of appointment processing.

Secure Deletion:

Data is securely wiped from our systems immediately after use.

User Rights

Access and Corrections:

Users may request to view, correct, or delete their data before processing. No data remains afterward.

Breach Response

We have procedures to contain, assess, notify, and remediate any data breach in compliance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Compliance & Updates

We comply fully with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and APPs. The policy is reviewed regularly.
